Day 1: JKIA Pickup and Transfer to Maasai Mara
Your adventure begins with a warm welcome at JKIA. After meeting your Sunley Safaris guide, you will immediately begin the scenic drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve . The journey takes you through the Great Rift Valley, offering spectacular views.
Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge or tented camp and enjoy lunch. The afternoon is dedicated to your first thrilling game drive in the Mara, where you will begin your search for lions, elephants, buffalo, and the elusive leopard.
Day 2: Full-Day Wildlife Exploration in the Maasai Mara
Day two is a full day dedicated to exploring the vast plains of the Mara. We will embark on an early morning game drive, the best time to witness predators in action. We will carry a picnic lunch to maximize our time in the reserve, allowing us to venture deep into the park, perhaps even to the banks of the Mara River .
The afternoon game drive continues the search for wildlife, including cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, and the massive herds of plains game. An optional cultural visit to a Maasai village can be arranged in the late afternoon.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Return to JKIA
